Media Summary

For almost 50 years the cornerstone of the Himmel brand building philosophy has been the use of broadcast media in the United States, Venezuela and Puerto Rico and broadcast and print in Canada and the United Kingdom. The use of cost-effective media vehicles has allowed Himmel to achieve a dominant share of voice in the categories where it competes even against competitors with greater sales volume and resources.

Himmel has been able to achieve and maintain its cost-efficient media buying capabilities by:

  1. Keeping direct control of all media buying activities via an in-house media-buying agency.
  2. Developing and maintaining direct long-term relationships with the senior sales executives at all the major broadcasting vehicles: Network Radio, Syndicated radio, Satellite Radio, Network Television, Cable Television and Syndicated Television.
  3. Providing a flexible working environment for our media partners by not only committing to long term media buys but also having the ability to react quickly to short-term needs of our media suppliers.
  4. Acknowledging the value of non-traditional day parts and the value of new or new-traditional media vehicles.
